Este es un pequeño recorrido dentro del sitio arqueológico de Chichen Itzá donde se mencionan las diferentes estructuras arquitectónicas que componen esta ciudad ceremonial de los Itzaes, ubicada en Yucatán, México.
Esta primera parte cuenta lo que es en breve el sitio de Chichén Itzá en Yucatán, Mexico. Las primeras exploraciones, el Cenote “ts’onot” Sagrado y el saqueo de su tesoro. Quiero aclarar aquí que una parte de ese tesoro ya regresó a México.
Un grupo de científicos de la Universidad de Londres, Universidad de York y el Museo Leeds del Reino Unido lograron que la Momia egipcia Nesyamun volviera a emitir un sonido de su voz.
En breve describo las diferentes técnicas de prospección arqueológica, tanto invasivas como no invasivas, para poder determinar si hay ruinas arqueológicas debajo de la tierra.
