You can tell that Apollyon is a true labor of love, across the board. Thank you Faith McQuinn! Loving how this story unfolds. The production and voice talent are tip notch, too! I agree with a previous reviewer: I’m gonna need a season 3. 😊
I’m an avid fiction podcast listener, and I’m thrilled that I found this one.
The writing and acting are fabulous.
I hope it never ends!
I was hoping for dystopia or impending apocalypse but this is an emotional personal drama set in the future. I thought it was a bit boring and cringe, esp all the unconvincing fake laughter.
I absolutely LOVE Apollyon- it has the perfect blend of science, fiction, humour, and suspense, all while developing incredibly personable and genuine characters. I’ve listened to the first couple of seasons multiple times and fall in love with it all over again each time!
Great performance! Love the story. Wish I didn't have to wait so long for each episode.

A tense, character-driven sci-fi narrative set in the not-so-distant future where a deadly virus reshapes global power. The series blends high-stakes science, ethical debate, and intimate interpersonal dynamics within a powerful research collective and the world they inhabit. Listeners often praise the crisp production, strong voice acting, and the way personal loyalties collide with professional responsibilities in a post-pandemic society. It's probably most compelling for fans of plausible science fiction that asks big questions about governance, ethics, and the cost of scientific progress, with a steady drumbeat of political intrigue and relational drama across seasons.
