  • A can’t miss Gator sports podcast, but the sound

Here are the two main issues: It doesn’t sound as though Pat’s microphone is turned on when it’s just him talking. If it is turned on there’s something wrong with the set up. His voice comes across like he’s in a cavern. Mainly it sounds like it’s being recorded straight into the computer’s built in mic. When he has a guest on via zoom, he usually puts a headset on with a real mic and the quality immediately improves on his end, but way too much and too loud. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode #573 ~ Chris Doering
Q: Are you on board with the all-blue uniforms, including the helmets?
Not fully; I haven't seen them yet, and while I like throwbacks, I care more about the players and the game than the uniform choice.
Episode #573 ~ Chris Doering
Q: You have more receiving yards than Chris Collinsworth—were you aware of that statistic?
No, I wasn't aware of that; it highlights how eras differ, and it's important to compare per-game stats rather than total career numbers across generations.
Episode #573 ~ Chris Doering
Q: Allie Peake Wilbur is the next great Gator media member. Do you think so?
Yes, because she has proven herself through preparation, consistency, and a strong work ethic that shines on TV and at media days.
Episode #571 ~ Justin Hokanson
Q: What are the key differences between the new Auburn and Florida coaching staffs, and how might that affect their early-season performance?
The guest notes that both programs brought in new energy and coordinators, with Auburn leveraging South Florida transfers to jump-start the offense and Florida emphasizing a more athletic, faster roster and a stronger offensive line; the expectation is that both teams will be competitive early, but the exact impact hinges on how quickly they adapt to SEC play and game one opponents.
Episode #540 ~ Keiwan Ratliff
Q: How did your name influence your UF number and your path to starting roles?
Coach Spurrier couldn't say my name correctly, so I was given the number one ('K1') and this helped shape my identity and starting opportunities.
