  • Great content, but horrible sound

I love listening to this podcast, and hearing all the fun and interesting talks! Especially of the lesser known animated movies. I listen to this almost daily at work, at the moment!

What unfortunately prevents me from rating it a 5-star, is the horrible sound quality. Especially in the older episodes.

Sometimes it’ll physically hurt my ears listening! I recall really wanting to listen to the Rock-a-doodle episode, but had to stop it shortly after, cause the sound quality of the guy was so b... more

  • Mid and charm free

They get 3 stars only because the subject matter is one of my favorite topics. This is a 2 star podcast with poor production and lackluster host. I’ve listened to their best villain songs episode and apart from their opinions being trash (not which is subjective) they managed to take a fun easy topic and turn it into a gibbering snooze fest. The coverage of the wild robot was impressively shallow and common. The search for a good animation podcast since the cancellation of Drawn continues. This ... more

  • One of my favorite podcasts!

I’ve been listening to your podcast for years and I love it… I build Puppets for a living and your podcast and others are what I listen to besides audio commentaries from blue rays and DVDs ( many of them animated or puppetry involved)I’ve collected while I’m building custom

Puppets for customers / Your observations and comments are never really negative just honest and you both have a grand sense of humor and very true to the art… thank you for doing what you do…

  • James Horner episode

Great podcast and long time listener! I do have a correction to make on your James Horner episode. He never actually did the music for Hocus Pocus. He was slated to do it, but dropped out last minute and John Denny took it up.
