Q: What advice would you give someone getting into van life?
Start small and test the waters with RV shares or rental vans; don't wait for perfect gear, and gradually build a setup that fits your family, budget, and planned trips; document and plan ahead but stay flexible for spontaneous adventures.
Anderson Overland - Episode #123 - Van Life to Banff & Beyond | Cooking with Charlie’s Mom
Q: Where did you start with van life and how did you get your first van?
We started with a borrowed Mercedes van from Dylan's brother and later moved to RV shares and then a full van purchase in Vegas; the process involved lots of planning, price checks, and eventually finding a Ford Transit that matched our needs and budget.

The founder describes how Solve Function began as a simple CAD-based effort that grew into a broader product line, with Etsy and direct printing enabling rapid iteration and a community-driven expansion.
