Wonderful podcast very entertaining. I love your stand-up, your bright and witty. You also seem to be a Mench. One suggestion is to get rid of the woman on the podcast as she is terrible and distracting. Her screaming, lack of intelligence, poor grammar and her “OMG” comment after everything is irritating and sophomoric , all take away from the quality of your podcast. Not sure what value your husband provides on a podcast minus whatever administrative stuff he may do behind the scenes but havin... more

I’m a historian who specialized in Early Modern European Jewish Thought. When kaporos began, which was in Europe, the local rabbis knew it was being adapted from non-Jewish magical folk traditions. So they opposed it as superstition. They actually banned it. But especially in times of great stress, people will do what they want, if they believe it will help them. Love you, Modi, Periel and of course, Leo. ♥️Ever since third grade, when I had a crush on a Jewish boy, some part of me has always wanted to be Jewish and this podcast fills that space for me. Modi is such a soulful, gifted and unique comedian, and I especially love how he conjoins comedy with the spiritual.
