Sometimes being friends with a creator is a mixed bag. But when it comes to the creation of W. Keith Tims, it's always a great reward! Keith narrates as a fabulous tale, with subtle use of sound design that makes it feel more like an audiodrama than anything. But, of course, that's what he does. Give it a listen. You'll thank me for it.

I found this podcast by chance and it was so enjoyable to listen to. Amidst the over produced and repetitive story telling of most fiction podcasts, this one stands out. I hope more people listen :)
Keith is an extraordinary storyteller. This show is not an exception from his previous works. If Christopher Nolan would pick this up I can imagine it to be a fantastic movie.
I listen to a lot of podcasts, both fictional and non fiction. I love fiction podcasts because they are fun but if Iβm honest most of them have mediocre writing at best. I listen anyway because of the easy access and they are often well produced and just good enough to be fun. Not the case with invisible sun. This instantly became an all time favorite because of the great, clearly thoughtful writing done by a true lover of science fiction. Canβt recommend highly enough.

Set in a dystopian future a century from now, the narrative showcases the journey of Christopher Cousins, a history professor grappling with the implications of a mysterious plague intricately linked to light-speed travel technology known as orbital Gates. Throughout the unfolding episodes, themes of corporate secrecy, societal struggles, and moral dilemmas dominate as Cousins navigates a world where the truth is suppressed by powerful entities. A rich tapestry of characters, including dissidents challenging the status quo and philosophical discussions about faith, loyalty, and sacrifice, contribute to the depth of this audio fiction. The storytelling combines elements of intense drama, ethical complexities, and existential inquiries, drawi... more
