  • Great concept, but needs a new host

The concept of the podcast is really good. And if I could get past the first couple episodes, it may get better, but I’ve heard the host talk more than I’ve heard the actual guest. So far it seems like an army of one, Voice.

  • Too many ads

The show now seems to be mostly ads with an occasional little bit of content. Now they even accept ads from anti-American organizations.

The American Dream Needs Mentors—Here’s How You Can Help (Pt 1)
Q: One of the things you said is the Holy Trinity for Morocco—education, mentoring, and access to capital. Could you talk about that and how it shapes Sky's the Limit?
Bill frames the Holy Trinity as the core engine: education to teach entrepreneurship, mentoring to provide hands-on, individualized guidance, and access to capital to fund basics like inventory. Bo confirms and expands, noting that combining these elements yields real results and that many entrepreneurs benefit from all three in concert.
The American Dream Needs Mentors—Here’s How You Can Help (Pt 1)
Q: All right. So you show up in Morocco, you work for the Peace Corps, right? What is your kind of job? And then tell us how Sky's the Limit became a thing of all places in Morocco.
Bo explains that the Peace Corps was a catalyst but not in the traditional sense; he rejected a typical assignment and instead focused on being valuable to the community, which led to starting a nonprofit and, eventually, Sky's the Limit, first launching with microfinance and education for aspiring entrepreneurs before expanding globally.
The American Dream Needs Mentors—Here’s How You Can Help (Pt 2)
Q: What is the core problem Sky's the Limit aims to solve at the community level?
The core problem is the gap between neighborhood potential and access to mentorship, education, and capital, which prevents aspiring entrepreneurs from turning ideas into sustainable businesses; the solution is mentoring-first, relationship-driven support plus scalable digital tools.
How One Person Can Fix a Broken Justice System (Pt 1)
Q: So Mark, you're a political science professor by trade. Tell us about that.
Mark explains his academic path, his focus on Europe, and his eventual pivot to criminal justice reform after witnessing his friend Marty's wrongful conviction, which reframed his career and life goals.
How to Turn Your Spending Into Someone's Second Chance. Or First Chance (Pt 1)
Q: What was that like for a sister?
It was devastating to see my sibling dealing with mental health and addiction issues, as he faced significant barriers to leading a fulfilling life.
