An Incredible Pleasure. I love listening to this one. It goes deep on a very specific subject and the hosts are lovely. This is what podcasting is REALLY about. Returning to say everything I said about this podcast is still true. This is one of the rarer sources of joy in life these days.
They have excellent quality voices for this kind of podcast, so that listening to the description of the story is like listening to an old time radio show. They put in solid preparation. I am undecided about ratings, but as far as that goes their three-tier system is the best I know of. I do wish they would do one more brief round of Larry Buchanan films, but I can’t give a good reason. The experience is marred, though, by the ads. Love late-60s and early-70s AIP “hippie exploitation” films. Also love a podcast that covers these films with the attention and detail they deserve. This podcast is a gem among b-movie/exploitation film podcasts.

A deep-dan exploration of vintage genre cinema, with a focus on mid-century exploitation, sci‑fi, and horror titles produced by a low-budget studio. Episodes typically dissect plot points, production histories, cultural impact, and the studio's marketing approaches, offering unusually detailed analyses of often overlooked films and the people who shaped them. Notable strengths include a sharp, film-historian perspective, strong niche appeal for cinephiles, and a lively, humorous hosting duo that makes genre discourse engaging for listeners who crave context and behind-the-scenes insights.
