  • Glad he’s speaking out against Joel webbon

But he’s still deeply misled on politics and faith. No understanding of nuance or the actual positions of people who disagree with him.

  • A Generational Blessing

Brother James is an under appreciated blessing to the church universal. Few men have been as formidable in my thinking. He has taught me not necessarily WHAT to think but HOW to think through Pertinent issues relevant to Christianity.

  • It’s good stuff

James white when talking on specific topics is extremely helpful, for example Roman Catholicism, tho out dated ( not a knock on him) give a very great intro to learning about Romans Catholicism and dealing with there claims etc, to transition into some more robust nuanced critiques from people like Gavin ortlund, Anglican aesthetics, the other Paul, Javier perdomo etc, but I absolutely love James white, all his work on these topics are of immense value to lay foundation to understanding these to... more

Open Zoom Calls, Great Questions!
Q: Is the mechanism by which God governs human actions explicitly defined in Calvinism?
No; the Bible indicates a decree and purpose by God, along with human accountability, but does not provide a step-by-step schematic of how all divine actions unfold.
Christless Nationalism and then "The New Mormonism"
Q: Could you perhaps bring some clarity to this for us, please?
The host distinguishes between his dialoguing experiences with Yasser Khadi and Webin's dialogue with Fuentes, emphasizing the differences in theological respect and engagement.
Open Phones with Great Questions (Except for One)!
Q: Today we see a variety of interpretations regarding the phrase Jesus knows the day and the hour; are any of these interpretations valid?
While interpretations vary, one must ground them in a rigorous examination of scripture and not rely on novel solutions that lack historical precedent.
Open Phones with Great Questions (Except for One)!
Q: How should we look at the church in the intermediate period between the 5th century and 1517? Was there a true enough understanding of the gospel for there to be what we would call true saints?
The reformers believed there were many Christians still within the Roman Catholic Communion who, despite centuries of unbiblical tradition, sought the true essence of the gospel.
Road Trip Dividing Line: X Theology Responses
Q: If the apostles could teach infallibly, why couldn't their successors?
The authority of scripture is not based on the apostles but on the infallibility of the text itself.
