Wow. I have been following for a couple weeks and enjoyed listening. Just finished The Politics of Sex episode. (1/27/2025)

I thought I had a pretty good understanding of these issues, but had not tied many of the yarns that made our modern tapestry of sexual perversion and the history of attacks on the family. I thought I knew, but I learned a TON in this episode. Well done, gentlemen, very well done.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Defunding the Democrats' Most Destructive Force (ft. Ryan Walters)
Q: What is the long-term vision for education reform through the Teacher Freedom Alliance?
To empower parents and taxpayers to fund Christian or home-based education options, connect families with Christian schools, provide curricula highlighting Bible and American history, and ultimately shift the system toward a conservative, faith-aligned framework across all states.
Defunding the Democrats' Most Destructive Force (ft. Ryan Walters)
Q: How do you respond to the claim that removing unions could deprive teachers of protections?
We argue that protection comes from the broader network and private coverage; unions often mislead about retirement or liability insurance, and our group can offer alternatives while preserving protections.
Defunding the Democrats' Most Destructive Force (ft. Ryan Walters)
Q: What was the strategy behind reducing union membership in Oklahoma to around 20%?
A multi-pronged approach: run a strong PR campaign exposing union positions, repeatedly inform teachers about what their dues fund, and provide a clear out pathway so they could quit the union without losing benefits, which led to a significant drop in membership.
Can Republicans Keep Iowa Red? (ft. Adam Steen)
Q: What are the top three strategic moves you would implement as governor for Iowa?
Steen highlights strengthening life protections, reducing property taxes through aggressive spending cuts and efficiency, and expanding school choice, with a focus on transparency and accountability in government budgeting.
The Equal Protection Bill Idaho Won't Touch (ft. Senator Brandon Shippy)
Q: How do you view the recent school choice legislation?
Shippy opposes the recent school choice measure, arguing that it fosters government dependence and does not provide substantial help to families who need it.
