The description is accurate in that you’re getting the classic sci-fi premise of aliens coming to understand humans by being among us, the usual government paranoia about said aliens, and the fish-out-of-water wackiness that occurs. What I really enjoy about the series are the distinct personalities and motivations of the different family members and the very real moments of parenting and family life amid the sci-fi tale.

I listened to all eight episodes of Alpha 8 multiple times and everything about this Si-Fi drama was excellently done. The creative writing was of the chart and the accompanying soundtrack aptly drew you into the action, allowing you to easily visualize what was happening. Each episode kept you wondering what’s next? So I can’t wait until season two drops, to find out “what’s next”.
