  • Christ for all of life…that tells me this will be good!

The title speaks to the variety of subject matter that makes this podcast very interesting. Yes, Christ has the whole world in His hands, and His word has something to say about all of it. This podcast helps us understand that irrevocable truth.

  • Nice but what happened

Regarding the Childers episode on Calvinism in the South, what happened? We’re not like that now. Where did the effect of the gospel and Calvinism go?

  • Why?

Love the podcast and listen to pretty much all of them but “it’s all Girard man” is horrible. Someone’s cell phone dings every 5 second about 15 minutes in and idk how long it goes on but I personally listened for another 10 and was having to repent for my lack of patience. How does no one address the non stop dinging of someone’s iPhone messenger? Boo

Yes, college does not make you wiser; it often keeps young men in a state of immaturity.
The True History of the Crusades / Raymond Ibrahim
Q: What do you think that history does to someone? Or what do you at least hope as the author that that history does to someone like that?
I think it's a shock for people, how I was taught so many things, and to realize that you could be lied to with such impunity by the authorities no less.
The American Way / Douglas Wilson & Allan Carlson
Q: Would you say that this unique American emphasis on the family... came under serious assault with the sexual revolution in the 60s?
Yes, although there were signs of trouble before that; the sexual revolution marked a significant conflict against traditional family structures.

Q: How do we contrast those other two examples, Balaam, Saul and Samson?
You need a well-developed theology of apostasy to understand how the Spirit operates differently in complex characters.
