Just started listening to this podcast recently. I have been freelancing in IT for 17 years and never experienced a market like this one. I have been out work for 6 months this year and 6 months last year. It’s great that you have addressed the unemployment issue because a lot of the self-help podcasts out there are aimed at those already in work. Great job Sabina keep up the good work.
This is a gem of a podcast! I’m currently unemployed and just listened to my first episode. I am adding you to my new daily listening material - Thank you!!

Unemployment is reframed as a normal, interview-ready phase rather than a stigma. Episodes emphasize practical work-literacy, authentic networks, and systemic clarity in hiring. The host guides listeners through frameworks for evaluating markets, building signal tribes, and turning everyday interactions into career opportunities, with a strong emphasis on empathy, transparency, and proactive self-advocacy. Notable is the consistent focus on human-centered skills—emotional intelligence, storytelling, and relationship-building—paired with actionable steps and concrete mental models for navigating job transitions in a changing economy.
