Love this podcast, John, Ryan, and Dixon have a great chemistry which allows them to talk about anything and everything film. 🍿🎬 If you’re looking for a podcast to supplement your movie watching this is the one. Plus the recommend and refute episodes are great for finding new things to watch! If I could recommend a film for y’all to review it would be “Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes”!
I am set in my ways and rarely take on new podcasts for my regular rotation. But, I noticed these guys kept popping up when I searched for discussions about whatever weird movie I just watched. They have a great casual style and diverse tastes in film. One likes art house/criterion, another seems to be into anime, and the other likes B film “schlock” type movies. A great listen, especially the recommend or refute eps. Keep it going guys, I love the show!

A laid-back cinephile panel show where three regular hosts—Dixon, John, and Ryan—discuss a mix of recent and classic films and TV, often framing conversations around Recommend or Refute segments, debates, and guest perspectives. Episodes span a wide range of genres and eras, with frequent focus on storytelling craft, adaptation, visual style, and cultural impact. The show stands out for its playful banter, strong personalities, and willingness to challenge each other's picks, making it a good fit for listeners who like deep dives balanced with accessible, surface-level banter. A recurring strength is the partnership between hosts and guest voices that adds outside expertise without slowing the pace of the conversation.
