Reviews

4.7 out of 5 stars from 546 ratings
  • Good story line, poor narrator and personification

The story was good but the narrator sounds like he’s never heard a woman talk before and has that “I don’t know how to act but I’m trying my best” tone with everyone other than the old man and the exaggerated personification of Bill kept pulling me out of the story.

  • Great story line but…..

The storyline alone is 5 star worthy. Very interesting plot, multiple characters to follow along with and fall in love with. But I am deducting for two stars. One: the narrator’s voice is annoying. I get that he’s supposed to be an “old man” but it’s forced. But now I’m into the second season I’m used to it. The second and more annoying thing is the author talks for atleast 5-10 minutes after each episode. He acknowledges that this is annoying to some listeners, but still does it into season 2. ... more
