Warning: This episode gets dark. Strange alliances form when things start to unravel.
To fight a cult, Miriam is going to need a crew.

Very impressive writing and wonderfully narrated.
I like it! Still on season 1 and like it so far!
I’m 5 episodes in and I have to give the author credit for an original premise: what happens if you hand a coming of age story with call-to-adventure to a protagonist who’s not competent enough to handle it?
What happens when you tell your audience in the first 5 minutes that your protagonist is self-assured and confident, but then spend the next 5 episodes having LITERALLY (and I mean literally) every other character they come across walk over them like a rug?
Well, if you want to find out: ... more
I came apon this by accident. Episode 1 almost had me thinking this Miriam is just awful but towards the end of the episode I wanted to know more.
The characters are so well written & the atmosphere in the cafe you can almost smell the coffee from that steampunk machine.
I’m coming to the end of season 7 & can say I have groaned & laughed out loud so many times.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this unusual podcast & highly recommend it.
I stumbled upon Achewillow as a suggestion on Spotify when I ran out of time on the paranormal book I was listening to. Until that moment, 3 days ago, I thought podcasts were people chatting about this, that, and the other thing. But amazing fiction? I had no idea (I’m oldish)
This is such an amazing production! I’m totally hooked. It’s such a great concept and I love that it’s Canadian! If you enjoy paranormal fiction I highly recommend!
