A brilliant, important collection of authentic stories completely ruined by the tortuous sounds or “music” that made it difficult to hear the voices. Silence behind their voices would have enabled the listener to pick up the subtle nuance in their words. The stories did not need dramatic piercing single never ending notes or random recordings of breaking glass. They were a hideous distraction and an irreverence that prevented me from being able to listen to all the episodes.
This podcast should be granted a status of national treasure. It tells an incredibly important part of British history in a most beautiful way. A fitting tribute to all those affected.
Enthralling. Truly beautiful and tragic story it tells.
Engrossing and involving. A truly excellent memorial to the victims and survivors of this appalling tragedy
An incredibly sad story of a disaster and a disrespectful government who didn’t care about the people in the Welsh valleys
