  • Such a good listen

The joy of discovering new music - there are some corkers in this podcast. From two down-to-earth music fans who aren’t trying to show off their eclectic tastes, but simply sharing sounds and ideas that thrill them. I’ve already made a list. Can’t wait to hear Jon’s next guest.

  • Good but potentially costly

There’s a lot of music of out there, I mean a lot but it’s still easy to get funnelled into listening to certain types of things. This show is a great way of widening your interests while listening to a good chat. I discovered 3 or 4 new passions just on the intro and 1st episode. Plus it supports CALM which is obviously a good thing.

  • Engaging and enlightening

DJ maybe best known as 6 music super-sub Jon Hillcock chats with other music fans about what they’re listening to and gets himself out and about (hence the away from home)

Knowing some of his and first episode guest Tom Ravenscroft’s taste can be esoteric/challenging I did have some worries that I’d fast forward through a lot but it was a really interesting and engaging chat about music, life and the tunes were a good mix. Loving Hayley Hendrickx especially.
