Each episode is a short, fantastic (and somehow deep) dive into a music theory concept, taking "Auld Lang Syne" as a springboard for re-interpretation. A fantastic show all around.
This is a great podcast! Let’s start with the host – Rob creates a welcoming vibe that is calming and fun. His guests are so enthusiastic and expert about their topic that even when I don’t know what they’re talking about, I enjoy listening to them explain it. And there isn’t a moment of condescension, even though I’m an amateur musician with minimal, almost no, music theory knowledge. The podcast’s length is just right for the information it is imparting.
