  • Flat main character. He is an american deputy, likes his car and has a dead wife. That's all there is so far after 10 episodes. Well, the narrative likes to portray him as a badass who smuggles a gun into a no gun zone and is the only one who can manage those barbaric norwegian scientists who are portrayed as savages and instantly are in awe of the oh so powerful american deputy. In reality his behavior is uncomfortable at best.
