  • Great podcast for a perfect film

So late to this brilliant podcast! I have been obsessed with Speed since I saw it as a teenager and pretty much literally ate two straws in the cinema. It’s in my top five films of all time and will always be. This DEEP dive is absolute heaven for someone like me. You like this movie, you need to listen to this.

  • Thank you, Kris!

Thank you for making this insightful podcast on one of my favorite movies of the nineties! I remember I saw it in the beautiful Tuschinski theatre in Amsterdam. (I’m Dutch so hearing Jan de Bont is really great)

You went out of your way to get so many people who made Speed on your podcast, including Jack & Annie themselves! Thank you!

  • An Incredible Homage

    What a fantastic podcast.

I’m at the halfway point after discovering this about a month ago and can honestly say it’s a real eye/ear opener into the seemingly precarious world of Hollywood studio movie production.

What comes through most often though is the genuine nature of the various players in the process of movie making, and the way these stories are drawn from such a wide array of sources too!

  • Pod quiz, hotshot!

What a show! Kris hit this podcast out of the park. It’s been an absolutely joy to listen to each week and to say it’s an in depth look at the movie Speed would be a major understatement. I was 19 when the film came out and I saw it at the cinema with a friend who I coincidentally saw so many Keanu movies with at the cinema growing up. I’ll be sure to tell him them about this podcast. This pod raises the bar considerably when it comes to not just talking about a film, a great film, but everythin... more
