While the podcast is good, like some others I finished the season several weeks ago and would really have liked this discussion closer to the airing of the episodes. There are so many complicated issues and human stories, it would have been more helpful then.
I had to stop listening when on Ep 3 they started talking about crackpot conspiracy theories like UAP and the nonsens the UFO community is trying to introduce as something with some credibility. I do have to say that the first two episodes were pretty good. It was fun to learn about the cultural revolution in China from a different perspective and some of the science from a real particle physicist. However I had to stop listening from Ep 3.
But I don’t understand why it wasn’t explained that the story of little red riding hood is called a fictional story and is used for entertainment purposes. So how would those aliens feel about actors? Would they be the worst form of liars? It should have been explained by Mike Evans — he should have requested that the alien look up the meaning of the word fiction.
