LLG Memorial林连玉纪念馆1977年，国际博物馆协会（International Council of Museums, 简称ICOM），将每年的5月18日定为“国际博物馆日”，主旨为号召世界各国关注博物馆事业，促进世界博物馆和文化事业健康发展。林连玉纪念馆作为人物博物馆，在本土肩负着教育与文化传承的使命，也从2019年起开始响应“国际博物馆日”。 2022年的国际博物馆日的主题是“博物馆的力量”（The Power of Museums)，林连玉纪念馆携手12个单位，一起发挥博物馆的力量！ 2023年度的国际博物馆日的主题则是“博物馆，可持续发展与美好生活（Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing）”，我们将介绍茨厂街社区附近的景点，拉近历史和当下的距离。 5月18日起至5月21日，连续9天中午，准时播放景点介绍，希望能让公众更加关注我们身边的社区，促进文化交流与发展。
