  • Great Show

I’m a huge fan of nitty gritty football breakdown type shows, but this one has grabbed my attention for a different reason. It’s a very entertaining show where Travis and Sheldon know their stuff and keep it fun for all knowledge levels of football. That is really hard to do, and their chemistry is tremendous.

It’s been the one show that’s made my introduction to the CFL this year so enjoyable.

  • Excellent CFL Podcast

The guys really know what they are talking about and the back and forth between them is a lot of fun. Technically sound and wildly entertaining, they are the CFL’s equivalent of a Kevin Owens vs Sammy Zayn match

  • Great CFL pod

I like the game summaries and talk about injuries and rosters. I really hope you’ll start making your predictions immediately after talking about each upcoming match-up rather than shooting them off machine gun style at the end in 5 seconds. It makes more sense to incorporate it at the end of each matchup discussion. I look fwd to predictions, current way is annoying.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Kyrie Wilson
Q: How did you stay mentally positive after the Achilles injury in 2022?
My faith, family, and the belief that God would make a way kept me grounded; I leaned into the recovery process, stayed disciplined in treatment and workouts, and kept the bigger goal in sight.
Kyrie Wilson
Q: What was it like stepping into the Bombers' environment and that famous rivalry moment that first year?
It was electric and intimidating in a good way; the rivalry with Saskatchewan is huge, and performing in that atmosphere reminded me why you play football, but the locker room support and coaching helped me settle in and focus.
DaShaun Amos
Q: Noah, what stage of your career do you really start to feel like you're becoming a leader, and is it more vocal or by example?
The guest discusses evolving leadership from leading by example early in Toronto and then growing into a vocal leader later, highlighting the balance between actions and communication and how different teammates respond to different leadership styles.
DaShaun Amos
Q: Take us back eight, nine years ago when you first came to Canada to Calgary, what did you know about the CFL before starting?
The guest explains that he knew almost nothing about Canada or the CFL when he arrived, which made the initial transition challenging but ultimately educational and transformative as he learned the league, the country, and the game rules.
Stavros Katsantonis
Q: What was your mindset going into the CFL Combine, and what advice would you give to a player taking part this weekend?
He emphasized not getting obsessed with numbers, focusing on on-field performance and football IQ, using drills to showcase movement in pads, and being ready to contribute on special teams as a pathway to securing a roster spot.
