I appreciate Jill’s efforts to read the Bible to us in chronological order. Her cadence is good, and it offers a fresh perspective compared to Brian’s reading order over on DAB, which I have enjoyed listening to in the past couple years. However, Jill tends to ramble before beginning the Scripture reading, after the reading, or both, in most episodes. I just started listening this year and started with the chronological version. Really enjoy the weeks when Jill is the reader. I appreciate China’s effort but the mispronunciation of words, lack of effect and inattention to proper grammatical structure drives me crazy. For a solid two weeks she read the wrong translation than what was printed. That makes following along really difficult.
