Es wird zunehmend zur Qual, Matthias Iken zuzuhören. In der Sendung vom 24. April 2026 sagt er ab Minute 31, er glaube, in Zukunft würden keine Flüchtlinge mehr nach Deutschland kommen wollen, und Deutsche würden das Land verlassen, weil es kein wirtschaftlich starker Standort mehr sei. Diese Aussagen sind nicht nur stark vereinfacht, sondern auch durch nichts belegt.
