2008年注定是不平凡的一年。北京奥运会在这一年顺利举行，但与此同时，全世界都显得不那么平静。从年初的南方大雪，到年中的地震，还有各国各地的天灾人祸，一时间仿佛所有不幸的消息都来到人们眼前。但人活着总要有希望，吴宇森拍了《赤壁》，电视荧幕上演着《闯关东》的大戏，陈老师还成了老师，为人们提供了喜闻乐见的海量照片。
2007年，因为追星闹出过人命，引发强烈的社会讨论。有人拍电影能获奖，有人拍电影被禁播，甚至还有人因为电影被封杀。2007年看上去很寻常，但实际上却有了很多预兆，毕竟之后就是奥运会了。
2006年，郭德纲和他的德云社一夜之间火遍街头巷尾，那一年的德云社还有张文顺、徐德亮、何云伟和曹云金，郭麒麟还只是个小学生。郭德纲和王宝强这些人的走红，造就了当年最流行的一个词汇——草根儿。另一边，上一次窦唯被广大媒体争相报道也是在这一年，大闹出版社，火烧记者的车，然后平静的去警察局自首，很多人只看到了作为名人和天后前夫的不理智，但却很少有人知道隐藏在事情背后的真相。这一年，还有很多大事发生着，我们在节目中和大家好好聊一聊。
