陳詩豪表示，天然氣早期在石油開採中常被視為無用的副產品而直接燒掉，直到液化技術成熟後，才突破地理限制，讓台灣這類海島國家能大規模進口。
蔡明芳提到，不同產地的天然氣成分是否會影響使用？陳詩豪回應，天然氣像石油一樣有輕重之分，美國頁岩氣較單純，而澳洲熱值較高，這種差異甚至體現在台灣民生用氣上，北部與南部的瓦斯熱值不同，瓦斯爐噴嘴設計也需對應，否則會影響燃燒效率。

蔡明芳表示，儘管美國總統川普釋出與伊朗對話的訊息，但荷姆茲海峽的航行安全與中東衝突仍未消散，這直接牽動全球能源價格。他分析，雖然國際貨幣基金組織（IMF）認為目前的通膨壓力可能是暫時的，但回顧俄烏戰爭經驗，各國央行不應掉以輕心。同時，蔡明芳提到，歐美3月採購經理人指數（PMI）數據下滑，反映出對未來的悲觀預期。

蔡明芳表示，最近剛好是國際媒體所稱的「國際央行週」，許多國家的央行都在開會討論貨幣政策。他以澳洲率先升息一碼為例，說明各國央行正在努力抑制通膨。他分析，央行的貨幣政策不外乎就是維持對外的匯率穩定與對內的物價穩定，在匯率部分，雖然貨幣貶值看似有利於觀光及出口，但若波動過於劇烈，會損害投資信心。
至於對內幣值穩定方面，蔡明芳認為，當市場上的貨幣供給過多，民眾會感覺錢變薄了，進而尋求購買房地產等資產來保值。為了抑制這種蔓延效應，央行必須透過升息來增加持有貨幣的成本。
