家族は選べるものでもなければ決めれるものでも無いのに、環境を作った両親より健全に生きていれば時間軸を長く持たなければいけない。
その渦の中に放り出されたような人は僕の中では何か気になって仕方がない部分がある。
僕が彼女より壮大な渦の中にいたとは全く思わない。
家族を出た後からが自分の数え歳だという価値観までも僕の中にある感覚にぴたりと一致した。
ただ彼女と僕の違うところは、おそらく僕のほうが世の中に対してもっと逞しい。
もちろんどちらが良い悪いの話をしたいのではない。 more

言っても、僕は小さい頃から本当に映画が大好きだからこの人と会うのは僕にとってとても楽しみになる。
映画を深く知るということは現在で考えると「これからのどうなっていくか分からない文化の歴史」を辿ってきたということだと思う。
そんなことを言ってしまうとどの業界もそうなはずなんだけど、どうしても大衆のものであったイメージが強い分僕も気になってしまう。

正直亡くなったインパクトが強すぎて会ったのがそこそこ前だからか、思い返せる思い出が今のところほとんどないです。
人の嫌なところばっか覚えられてると思うとなんだか自分も嫌になりますよね。

本当に良い人だった。
会った瞬間「この人は優しい人なんだろうな」と分かるぐらい分かりやすく、心地のいいテンションで人当たりがいい人だった。
2時に来て、夕方の6時ぐらいまで2人でずっと話していたと思う。
話していて思ったのは、彼の中で「なんかやりたい」「なんかやりたい」というような、まだ気持ちの行き場が見当たらない、まるで自分の循環を重たい石でせき止められたかのようなわだかまりを感じた。

何も思わず生きてる時は「別に長生きしなくても良いや」なんて思うんだけど、「もしあと残された期間が短ければ」と自作自演で真剣になってみたら本当に何か気持ちがスッと変わってくる。
「せめて長い人生の中で短さを選べるなら長生きしなくても良いや」そんな考えが自分の中で無自覚のうちにあったのかもしれない。
