威廉·克里斯多夫·汉迪（William Christopher Handy ,1873年11月16日——1958年3月28日），是著名美国黑人作曲家、演奏家。他把布鲁斯（Blues）与拉格泰姆（Ragtime）相结合，使原来只在黑人中流传的布鲁斯被不同阶层的听众所接受。从此，布鲁斯音乐不仅受到大众喜爱，还得到音乐界认可，逐渐成为正规音乐的一个重要组成部分。由于他为布鲁斯的推广和流传起到了巨大的推动作用。1960年，美国邮政部发行了他的... more

2011年前后，我在南方沿海地区的小城生活过一段时间。有那么一段日子，城区里的市立图书馆是我常去的地方，一开始只是为了找些小说来打发时间。

他与Howard Levy一样毕业于曼哈顿音乐学院；
