遇到不順的事情時，很多人會習慣抱怨、發洩情緒。通常不是抱怨環境，就是抱怨別人。抱怨本身，其實是無奈的表現。所以當你聽到別人在抱怨的時候，你別生氣，要知道對方現在正陷入不知道該怎麼辦的心緒中。當我們抱怨的時候，會把那種無奈以及恐懼的心緒散發給周圍的人。而當周圍的人感覺到那種無奈、恐懼的壓力時，大家的助力與腦筋反應的效率都會減低。我們得去了解現在所面對的困難，抱怨困難，生活不會更好；解決困難，才是我們活著的重點。
釋迦牟尼 世尊教導我們「事事物物都是因緣所生」，既然事事物物是因緣所生，它就會被因緣所限制，限制在一個特定的、促成它發生的因緣裏面。當你從因緣來看，會發現我們現實的人生，都是有所條件、有所因緣才能呈現眼前的狀態，那麼「有所不能」就很當然了。如此就會明白：有困難是當然，沒有困難純屬偶然。如果把困難當作是一種障礙，不了解它是人生多數的當然，我們將會很討厭困難，甚至害怕困難。可是我們害怕困難，正是個大困難；唯有願意面對困難，才能解決困難。
人生很短，我們不可能每件事都自己親身經歷、嘗試各種錯誤之後，才學到一個有效經驗，而是必須透過學習別人的經驗，縮短自行摸索的時間。一個有智慧的人，會樂於向別人學習可貴的經驗，並且不吝嗇表達是從哪裡學來的。
一般人往往會向有名的人或機構學習，因為他沒那個聰明才智，分辨什麼值得學，所以需要有名的人或單位來替他背書。但是古人卻說「聖人無常師」，意思是一個賢德的人，他自己有判斷和審視的能力，在生活各個領域上、在平常的地方，他都會看到可貴的事情，他更知道要學習。所以我們在學習的時候，不要只懂得向那些知名可... more
天下沒有白吃的午餐！任何事情都有成本。許多人只想「開心、舒服過日子」，但他從不曾想過成本從哪裡來？所謂「成本從哪裡來」，這還是在講物質成本；那時間成本呢？時間成本得從自己有限的一生當中來扣除！我們看社會上所謂的高端人士，他們之所以在工作、學習、運動等各方面取得成就，是因為他們都對自己進行非常嚴謹的管理。我們付出的成本高，當然收益就大，這是必然的。這個收益不一定是金錢跟房地產，而是生命的收穫！
