COURT SIDE第28回には、バスケットボール音響監修を務めた新岡潤が登場。現在は俳優・モデルとして活躍するが、かつては能代工業高校（現：能代科学技術高校）のバスケ部に所属し、インターハイと国体で二冠を達成。さらに、B.LEAGUEのアルバルク東京でマネージャーを務めるなど、長年バスケ界の第一線で活躍してきたことで知られている。実体験に基づいて作られた、本作の臨場感あるバスケ音響について聞いた。
