为什么我们会习以为常地认为学习和成长是相互割裂的两件事情？可能是因为在功利主义和优绩主义的赛跑中，学习被逐渐窄化成一种获得分数、获得排名的手段。在这个意义上，正是最先提出不想学习的孩子成为了最先提出需要重新定义学习的人。
