随着2024年美国总统选举最近发生了一些有趣的变化，让舆论对特朗普再度连任的感觉暴增。同时特朗普对乌克兰冲突有着迥异与拜登政府的立场，例如特朗普曾经多次提到，他上台后会推动自己版本的乌克兰和平方案，其中包含了大幅度削减对乌克兰的军事援助。
