A revolving door of an ill-fated server. With a comical absence of balance, over customization, a destroyed economy, to a lack of reason to do too much besides a third of the server AFKing in Jeuno. CatsEyeXI had all the promise in theory, but wasn't... more

These guys are wellsprings of knowledge to new players like me. I’ve really been enjoying the podcast so far, and the little things that they do that make the podcast special (Spicy talking about food and cooking and history, listing drinks in the descriptions). Thanks guys for an incredible ride, and I hope to hear more from you in the future if it’s ever on the table.
If you’ve made it this far, you’re in the right place. Dedicated FFXI content from experienced players. The binge has begun. PS - thanks Spicy for “Out of the Blu” - made returning as a BLU main somewhat approachable.
Fun, raunchy and interesting podcast. Check it out if you love FFXI!
As someone who returned to the game back in 2021 after 12 years away, this podcast has been a great resource for thinking more creatively about my approach to different jobs and REMA weapons as I’ve been able to progress a bit further into end game content. I very much appreciate the time that Fox and Spicyryan (and all the guests) have dedicated to making the game more accessible and enjoyable to me and other returning players!
I’ve been playing retail on and off since 2004. Now I play on a 75 era server but sill enjoy hearing that the game wasn’t completely ruined post 75 cap. At one point several family members and friends played with me on retail and my aunt actually met her husband on there while farming LL for my cousin. Its always great hearing others history and love for the game… even though they might be level 99. Keep doing what you’re doing! I wouldn’t change anything.
