Who doesn’t like a campfire story? Those scary tales told by the dying light of burning logs that leave us lying in our sleeping bags, eyes open, wondering if maybe it wasn’t just a story…

I really enjoy these stories and most are the perfect length for a dog (or polymorphic puppy) walk!
Great storytelling and narration. And also fun! Unfortunately they won’t help you sleep because you don’t want to stop listening.
In a world of true crime and self-help podcasts, it’s FUN to have another option! Short mysteries are brought to life with sound effects and the soothing story-telling voice of the author. Great stories for wind-down, dog-walking, or kid-pick-up!!
This podcast, I mean. The stories, the words and the narration (great voice, pacing and sound effects) all seem to jump out of the air and into the room when you're listening to these oh so creative bedtime stories. Keep them coming if you can, Rich! I look forward to the stories every week... just an amazingly excellent production. You rock!
Like listening to an audio anthology. Great selection of stories, awesome production values, and there are also a couple serialized audiobooks to choose from. Great way to wind down at the end of the day, perfect length for walking the dog. Can't get enough. Always excited to see a new episode drop!
Compelling stories with a great narrator.
Rick’s got a great voice. I like just laying down and putting this on.
Not a lot of original fiction podcasts out there. If you're an audiobook lover, you'll find these short stories a great listen in between full length novels.
“Firefly” reminded me of THE PLOT, a novel I recently read. This story succeeded where the novel failed. It’s an amazing story.
I’ve also read the entire Rainy & Day novel on YouTube. Rich Hosek is a brilliant author and a talented narrator.
