This couple is great! They really help with inspiration for writing scenes and NPCs as a DM or just writing in general. I love this podcast!
Whether you’re looking for some inspiration for a tabletop role playing game and/or world building, or just enjoy hearing some free form creativity, this podcast has what you need. Sam and Piper are fun to listen to and often present ideas in a different perspective than I would typically see them. Easy 5 star review
This podcast is possibly my favorite podcast out there and you should listen to it immediately! An example of why it’s so amazing: in an early episode Sam says “I don’t want to eat my own sandwich” in the same way a normal person would say “I don’t want to pat myself on the back.” What? If you’re a DM in need of a little jump-start for your world-building, there’s nothing easier or more fun than listening to an episode of World Forge to get your juices flowing. With a wide range of topics, great guests, great recommendations, and a solid-gold examples, these two won’t steer you wrong.
Funny, creative, and very sweet. I've borrowed ideas from this cast for my own games.
Their guest interviews are very high quality as well!
