  • Pedantic and hosts almost seem envious/jealous

    Idk if it’s just the episode I listened to (the first Poppy War episode), but there didn’t seem to be much charisma between the hosts and with the amount of times it’s brought up that “I have a masters already so at least I have that over her” or “she’s really young, she might do this trilogy fast but struggle with the next work,” it comes off as two guys being snarky/jealous about another author. I couldn’t finish the episode—some of what they started to talk about re:the wars in China, and how... more
