The art for this show was/is AI made, so I worry the script was written primarily by Chat GPT. A real shame this creator chooses to use generative AI.
I find the main actor’s voice grating, and he is not good at accent work which means that having approximately 40 bajillion Void Bros is utter audio hell. This on top of an utterly nonsensical plot are all contributing factors to my rating.
This show does a lot of new things that i’ve never personally seen in an audio show of any kind. the sound design is expertly crafted, as is the story
What a ride!
The first season was okay, despite some pretty big plot holes. Then the second season veers into a bunch of weird drama. After investigating the show’s socials (which are full of hateful comments directed at other creators) it seems like the creator is basing the story off of his own personal beef. Not fun to listen to at all. Also, I know it’s tough for one person to do all the voices, but the fake accents are just bad.

A provocative, audio-forward series blends psychedelic fiction with sharp critiques of power, surveillance, and media spectacle. Across recent episodes, listeners are drawn to immersive world-building, multi-voice narration, and narratives that push boundaries between reality and fiction. The show often threads themes of control, identity, and resistance through surreal plots, conspiratorial lore, and sonic experiments, making it a compelling pick for fans of cosmic horror and techno-thriller storytelling. A standout aspect is its unwavering commitment to atmosphere, using sound design and layered dialogue to deepen mystery and provoke thought about who profits from sensational narratives.
