Excellent podcast covering the weird and wonderful - everything from conspiracy theories to weird fiction. Well researched and critical, but not cynical.
Discovered this show a while back and I always have a great time listening to it. Informative and entertaining and the guests are always brilliant
Wide Atlantic Weird is a really well-researched and intelligent deep dive into numerous Fortean subjects. Highly recommended indeed.
Conspiracies, though fascinating, are a rabbit hole deeper than Loch Ness. Every fan knows the feeling of researching Bigfoot and ending up in Dallas 1963. It doesn't help that hardcore enthusiasts tend to be either arch sceptics or swivel-eyed loons. Wide Atlantic Weird's host Cian is a nice blend of Mulder and Scully, neither dismissive nor credulous, the perfect Virgil in fact to show you round the Inferno.
A charming variety of the weird, presented with the aid of informed and entertaining guests.
