There’s nothing massively wrong with that but it’s not really my taste. If you want something else a bit more “produced” and hosted I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Not a huge criticism, the content is decent but the presentation style is just of the ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Expansion Pack: Tristan Hall's Turn (Hall or Nothing Productions)
Q: What comes next for Hall or Nothing after these campaigns?
The plan is to fulfill Night of Wolves and The Ruined Path, then roll into Wyvernmoor and other follow-ups, continuing to iterate on the Killforth system and exploring new genres while maintaining a small-publisher footprint.
Expansion Pack: Tristan Hall's Turn (Hall or Nothing Productions)
Q: What are Night of Wolves and The Ruined Path, and why did you keep their components lean?
They are compact, deck-based games designed for quick play; the emphasis is on beautiful artwork and accessible rules, allowing solo or co-op play without heavy production costs, enabling affordable pricing.
Expansion Pack: Tristan Hall's Turn (Hall or Nothing Productions)
Q: How did you get into the hobby and eventually become a designer?
Tristan describes starting with childhood games, tinkering with others' games, and recognizing game design as a viable vocation, which eventually led to a full-time publishing career after success on Kickstarter.
Expansion Pack: Paper Fort Games' Turn (Terraria / Cult of the Lamb)
Q: What role did collaboration with other teams (Devolver, Massive Monster) play in the Cult of the Lamb project?
Collaboration provided art direction and licensing support, with a one-to-one art style and sign-off that streamlined production, while the studio maintained creative control and kept the development open to community feedback under a shared publishing umbrella.
Expansion Pack: Paper Fort Games' Turn (Terraria / Cult of the Lamb)
Q: How does Cult of the Lamb balance roguelike elements with a two-hour board game session?
Cult of the Lamb splits play into four short rounds with dungeon and base phases, using a path-based dungeon system, and includes non-roguelike but roguelike-inspired components (such as evolving weapons and followers) to keep the tempo brisk and replayable while avoiding the churn of a full roguelike.
