  • Nice inside White Podcast

Nice supplement to pre and post game coverage, the only issue I have is…why are you slapping a commercial right in the middle of a question? Find a more natural location to place them

  • Doug Sisson Interview

I listened to this while walking my dogs this morning and I am ready to run through a wall. I need Doug Sisson here every morning.

Seriously, you can tell immediately that he is the kind of coach that makes a difference. He knows the game, is tough, but also loves his players as long as they give 100%. I am convinced that Sisson and Sizemore are the right leaders for this team in the near future. Give them a couple of years and they will get this team on the right track if Getz gets them some t... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

🚨2026 Trade Deadline REACTION with David Haugh
Q: What was the rationale for trading away Everson Pereira and Mason Adams?
The moves were driven by a balanced strategy to upgrade the major league roster while managing the minor league depth; Doyle provided a longer-term defensive upgrade, and the Pereira trade was framed as a necessity given roster needs and development plans.
🚨2026 Trade Deadline REACTION with David Haugh
Q: Was there other stuff that came about that was close, but didn't cross the finish line?
Getz describes an open-minded approach to rentals and acknowledges that prices were high, which constrained the ability to pull in another starter without sacrificing top prospects. They prioritized maintaining prospect depth while addressing needs, making some near-misses but ultimately choosing not to overspend.
What it will take for the White Sox to win the AL Central with MLB Network’s Dan Plesac
Q: How important is bullpen depth to their postseason hopes, given the current rotation and injuries?
Crucial; having a reliable late-inning trio plus a versatile arm like Newcomb reduces stress on the rotation and helps the team navigate the three-batter minimum rule while keeping the bullpen fresh for the final stretch.
What it will take for the White Sox to win the AL Central with MLB Network’s Dan Plesac
Q: What have you seen from Sean Burke that gives you confidence he can carry this year into the playoffs?
Burke has shown patience, attack-mode mindset, and a willingness to finish games when asked, marking a clear development arc from opening-day starter to a responsible, confident late-season performer who believes in his stuff.
White Sox Trade deadline preview with USA Today’s Bob Nightengale
Q: What kind of starting pitcher matches are realistic for the White Sox and who might be available?
Realistic targets include veterans who can contribute for a short window beyond this season, with some depth in the rotation; names like Detmers or Soriano were discussed as long-term fits among others, with teams weighing the cost of salaries and prospects.
