This podcast is dedicated to Julian McMahon, THE Christian Troy. We sadly lost him in early July. He was a hell of an actor, and hot af as well! In this episode, I will be talking about some of my favorite Nip/Tuck moments involving Christian. This w... more
I really enjoy this podcast. I found it when I was looking for a Wonder Years re-watch podcast. I love Alissa’s personality and assessment of these old shows. I especially enjoyed her Beverly Hills, 90210 review with her friend Amber. So funny. Keep it up! I would love to hear more Wonder Years and 90210 content.
Alissa loves TV, from the 1950s to the present day - if you do, you've got to check this podcast out! She reviews not just the episode in question, but also the other popular media at the time (music, films), and also her own personal memories of the TV she grew up watching.
Some suggestions for shows to cover in future:
Cheers
Frasier
Some UK sitcoms (Dad's Army and Only Fools and Horses)
Moonlighting
This is a fun podcast. The host delves into the TV that Generation X, and Millenials grew up on. The only drawback is the host and guests often forgetting plot points and stammering. Better editing could solve the latter problem, whereas better notes would help the former. Overall, though, it's a good time to reminisce on our favorite shows.
I love your take on TV-especially 90210. I’m a few years older than you (and just as nostalgic) so I appreciate your stories and perspective!
Alissa does a great job at showcasing famous episodes of a wide variety of shows. She adds her own personality to make them engaging and fun. Keep up the amazing work!!!
