These made me want to listen, read and watch all these great guests’ choices and marinate myself in their thoughts and pleasure. Expertly guided by Ian Rickson. Can’t wait for Series 2.
Intimate, revealing and utterly compelling. Ian Rickson is a beautifully empathetic conversationalist with an unpredictable address book of guests. These are conversations to be cherished by the listener as they nourish the soul and enrich the mind. More please.
Ian is a fantastic interviewer and elicits fascinating gems from his guests. The conversation is intimate and one feels like they're eavesdropping on a exchange between two close friends. The format allows for thoughtful ruminations on life's big questions and I felt like I really got to know each guest on a deep level. There is nothing shallow about this series. It is emotional, edifying and profoundly nourishing. I love it and hope there'll be more!!
