Zunächst war ich skeptisch, weil der Podcast von Studierenden in ihrer Freizeit produziert wurde. Eine gewisse Unerfahrenheit merkt man den Moderatoren an. Vor allem die teils vereinfachenden Wertungen über einzelne Filme (gut, schlecht) sind unnötig und passen nicht zum ansonsten vielschichtigen Inhalt. Abgesehen davon enthält der Podcast neben einer wunderbar hohen Informationsdichte (es wird nicht rumgelabert) auch ein sehr professionelles Sounddesign und eine behutsame musikalische Begleitun... more

Die erste Folge war ein guter Start. Beim Bonusmaterial zur zweiten Folge standen mir mehrfach die Haare zu Berge, vor allem wegen der Wortwahl des Autors und der Autorin. Dass es in der DDR tatsächlich so politisch und stalinistisch war zur Zeit der drei besprochenen Filme und dass Konrad Wolf das schon als Kind in der Sowjetunion erlebt hatte, spiegelt sich deshalb auch in zwei dieser drei Filme. Wer nicht den Sozialismus mit aufbauen wollte bekam ernste Probleme oder verließ das Land.
