  • Where are the fans?

I cannot believe even our podcast announcer beats up on Draymond and not standing up for our player. What kind of fans are we? It’s one thing when he punches the other guys and makes the basketball into WWE matches but what he did in this game did not warrant ejection! So tired of smarty fans calling for Kerr and Draymond’s heads. It’s just absurd.

I’ve listened to a few episodes and it’s almost unlistenable because of the host please talk more about the Warriors and less about your personal life’s hard times!

  • Solid

Never going to top my NBA/Warriors pod list, but can't deny the real value. Fills in some gaps, different views, different emphasis. And there every game. When they open the phone lines, I'm out, but good stuff.

Addendum (7/2023) - No longer. One of the worst pods I've ever tried to listen to. Gone WAY downhill. Run away!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Warriors lose to the Lakers 119-103!
Q: Steve, what's the word on LJ?
Sprained ankle, pretty badly, but his foot is in an ice bath right now; we'll know more tomorrow.
Warriors three game win streak snapped by the Nuggets, losing 116-93!
Q: What did you want to see offensively in the third quarter and where did the offense go missing?
The coach explained that spacing broke down and turnovers increased the late clock situations, which prevented the team from generating easy looks and allowed Denver to pull away.
The Warriors 120-99 loss to the Celtics has major implications for the playoffs!
Q: What did Kerr say about preparing for the play-in, and how does that affect the team's approach now?
Kerr stressed that the team should build good habits and be ready for when key players return, rather than focusing solely on immediate wins, to maximize performance in the play-in and potential postseason.
Warriors lose to the 76ers 113-94
Q: Steve, what do you feel like went wrong in the second half after the competitive first half?
The team got every offensive rebound and we turned it over 20 times; losing the possession battle is key to not winning the game.
Warriors get the win over the Jazz 123-114!
Q: What adjustments did you make at halftime to mitigate Draymond's loss?
We ran a lot of pick and roll, kept it pretty simple.
