- Beesten of dieren?
Interessante podcast. Maar toch vraag ik me af waarom het taalgebruik van biologen zo is geëvolueerd dat men van van ‘beesten’ spreekt terwijl we het toch echt hebben over dieren (als tegenhanger van planten). Is hier een verklaring voor vanuit historische literatuur misschien? En zou het nu niet correcter om over dieren te spreken? Dat doen ze in andere vakgebieden wel. Denk aan dierenartsen, dierverzorgers, etc. Misschien leuk om daar eens een aflevering aan te wijden.
