Gaandeweg de afleveringen wordt echter steeds duidelijker dat dit niet het werkelijke doel is. In plaats daarvan lijkt de podcast te draaien om een onverwerkt trauma, waarbij de podcastmaker overtuigingen probeert te bevestigen om een gevoel van spijt te verzachten, omdat zij zelf vroegtijdig is gestopt met het geven van borstvoeding.

We kunnen het de baby natuurlijk niet vragen, maar hoe zou je het zelf vinden maandenlang meerdere keren per dag dezelfde opgewarmde magnetronmaaltijd te moeten eten? Niet vers, geen variatie, winter en zomer, ochtend en avond altijd maar hetzelfde. Al is het wetenschappelijk gezien misschien even gezond, ik zou toch voor de variatie kiezen.
