  • Kind of a shame

The podcaster seems nice and has great enthusiasm, but it was a shame to listen to a podcast with a familiar name and realize the guest was lying their face off throughout the entire podcast. Not sure what the podcaster could have done better (maybe nothing, as he surely had no idea), but it kind of ruined the 'cast.

Die Sexual

Die Sexual
Q: What are the plans for the next record and what themes might you explore?
They say they don't have a strict plan, preferring a blank slate approach; sometimes a single word like 'desire' can spark direction, and they focus on jam-based creation and finishing tracks quickly to maintain momentum.
Die Sexual
Q: Do you mind if I ask what you guys do that affords you the opportunity to go do that? Is the band just the main thing for you both?
They confirm they are full-time musicians and that both members contribute creatively and practically (including photography and business/marketing work) to sustain touring and output.
Ashton Nyte of The Awakening
Q: How do you balance the various creative outlets you pursue beyond The Awakening?
Nyte discusses ongoing solo work, involvement in Beauty in Chaos, acting, writing, and scoring, highlighting a preference for diverse flavors while keeping the core as the writer and singer.
Ashton Nyte of The Awakening
Q: Do you feel the shift to digital and self-promotion has benefited you or changed your approach?
He notes both pros and cons: easier global reach and multiple release formats, but also greater noise and the challenge of standing out; he emphasizes using tools like social media thoughtfully rather than letting them dominate the process.
